Two-Match Ban for Mourinho
Never at a loss for words, either on the touchline or cast as a cheeky puppet in a long-running satire, Real Madrid Coach José Mourinho drew a two-match ban from the Spanish federation on Friday. Mourinho was sent off last Wednesday in Madrid’s 5-1 win over Murcia in Spain’s Copa del Rey after insulting Referee Jose Luis Paradas Romero.
He will not be on the bench for the match against Sporting Gijon in La Liga on Sunday nor will he coach when Athletic Bilbao visits next week, but he will be back against Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Nov. 29.
He may not be on the bench for two games, but he is back out there, in new installments of Special1TV on BBC Three in Britain.
